Sweeten Your Life with Positive Intentions

Use this deck of 35 cards to inspire, motivate and remind you of the simple pleasures of life.

Creating art on paper is a great way for me to stay active with my creativity when I only have a little bit of time.  There’s much less set-up and clean-up time than when I work with oil on canvas.  Plus I really love drawing outside in nature.  It helps me to see the world more clearly.

These images are available as giclée prints.  Giclée, a French word, describes a process used to produce prints using high-end inkjet technology and special pigment archival inks.  My giclée prints are printed on 13″ x 19″ archival paper and are rated at 100+ years of archival life.  All prints are limited editions of 25; they are signed and numbered.

Cost – $90 unframed, $150 framed w/metal section frames.

“Geometry existed before creation.” – Plato

Sacred Geometry can be seen as a world view of pattern recognition, a complex system of religious symbols and structures involving space, time and form. These patterns follow geometrical archetypes which recognize the inseparable relationship of the part to the whole.  According to this belief the basic patterns of existence are perceived as sacred and remind us of our relationship to and connection with the whole.  The Golden Ratio, the spiral, gnomic expansion, the Seed of Life, and the Flower of Life are just a few of the Sacred Geometry patterns I continue to be  fascinated with.

Nature Art – Using Nature as Symbol

Trees – The tree reaches to the sky with its branches, digs deep into the earth with its roots, uniting heaven and earth, the interconnectedness of all life.  The Feminine, fruit bearing nature and the masculine phallic shape are also united in the tree.  Resurrection, regeneration, and enlightenment are common themes symbolized by the tree.

Flowers – the Lotus and the Rose symbolize spiritual growth and the feminine principle.

Seeds – traditionally the seed represents initiation, reproduction, cycles, transition, growth, patience, nourishment, trust and hope.  The seed can also be seen to symbolize consciousness itself in the way that the mighty oak tree is implicit in the tiny acorn, the awareness of expanded consciousness rests in a tiny seed of inspiration.
