Seal Embraces Woman – an art print from the mythological animal painting by Judith Shaw was inspired by the Sabian Symbol for 1° Aries – “A woman rises from the water. A seal rises and embraces her.” That image got inside of me and demanded visual expression. For me it’s a symbol that elicits hope.
